The
Naperville Noon Lions Club is holding its annual 5K Run on
Thanksgiving morning. What better way to prepare yourself for the
sumptuous banquet ahead than by participating in an event that
will not only help your well-being, but will also help the
community. The proceeds from the event will benefit your
neighbors and friends right here in the area through various
agencies.
Race Information:
The 5k race
will be held on Thanksgiving morning, November 25, 2010 at 8:00
a.m. The race will begin and end at Naperville Central Central
High School, 440 West Aurora Avenue, Naperville, IL. The 5K course
is a relatively flat, scenic route through the west-central part
of Naperville.

Chip Timed
Race: The race will be chip timed. Each participant will
be issued a disposable timing chip that does not need to be
returned. Instructions for attaching the chip.
Awards and
Prizes: The top five overall male and female runners
PLUS the top five male and female runners in the following age
groups will receive an award and/or prize. Age groups are as
follows: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,
40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & older. Overall
male and female winners are removed from age categories.
T-shirts: Runners registered before race day will receive a T-shirt. T-shirrs are short sleeve and are offered in sizes small, medium, large, extra large, youth medium and youth large.
T-shirts will be available for Race Day registrants
ONLY while supplies last.
Strollers? Dogs? Etc? RUNNING strollers WILL be allowed
in the race, however, REGULAR strollers WILL NOT be allowed. Also
NOT ALLOWED in the race are dogs, skates, bicycles and scooters.
Parking:
Will be available in the east and west parking lots at Naperville
Central High School, the Municipal Center, The Riverwalk Rotary
Hill and Naperville Centennial Beach. Downtown Naperville Parking Information

Results: Race results will be available after 3:00 p.m.
on the day of the race at
www.ChicagoAA.com.
